This fantastic workshop inspired by  Lotte Reiniger’s fantastical 1950’s Fairy Tale Films can work as a drop-in workshop or with a set group. It is perfect for key stage 2 children.

During the workshop children create their own characters out of paper cut-outs and animate at our illuminated lightbox stop-motion animation stations.

Lightbox Cinema delivered a special bike themed silhouette animation workshop at The Nunhead Free Film Festival.  Participants in Year 5 & 6 from Hollydale Primary School created their own bikes and characters and brought them to life with stop motion animation techniques on lightboxes.  The animation was screened on 12th September at the Nunhead Free Film Festival at a special outdoor, bike powered screening of ‘Belleville Rendezvous’.
